Royal Caribbean-Majesty of the Seas, 4-day cruise
Port of Departure: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Destination: Havana, Cuba and Nassau, Bahamas
January 24-28, 2019
Cost: $750/KACE Member; $650/Companion*

6 hours of CEUs will be offered (3 hours via webinar prior to the cruise and 3 hours on the ship.) (This event is approved for up to 6.0 continuing education clock hours for adult care home administrators and registered operators by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (LTS#A1427) in the core area of Administration.)

*This includes the cruise with double occupancy in an interior (Category 4V) cabin as well as continuing education for members. [If only one person is in a cabin, the single would pay $1,230.00.] All rates are inclusive of taxes and fees.

Upgrades to an exterior cabin are possible based on current pricing and availability. If you plan to upgrade, you are encouraged to register early.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1. You will need your actual passport book if you are traveling to Cuba--passport cards, birth certificates and driver’s licenses are not sufficient documentation. Make sure you check the expiration date on your passport, too. It needs to be valid for six months after your sail date.

2. Anyone going ashore in Cuba needs a Cuban visa. You might also hear this called tarjeta turistica (“tourist card”), visitor card, or entry card. Royal Caribbean can process the Cuban visa for you at the pier for $75 per person, but you're free to get your own as long as you have it ahead of your sailing.

3. When you reserve a cabin, a deposit of $200 ($100 per person) is required.  Open registration is from June 6, 2018-July 6, 2018. Full payment is required by September 15, 2018.

4. All participants will be required to fill out a form from the cruise line once your cruise is reserved.
