KACE Education Offerings 

KACE education programs are designed to help adult care exectives function within the complex and ever-changing long-term care profession. KACE education programs are approved for CE credit hours that count towards adult care home administrator and operator licensure renewals. KACE members receive a discount on education registration fees.  

KACE Annual Convention

The KACE Annual Convention and Exposition provides unparalleled education programs, social and networking events. The KACE Annual Convention is a 3-day event plus a 1-day optional pre-session held each August in Wichita. The 52nd Annual KACE Convention will be held August 21 – 23 at the Wichita Marriott in Wichita, KS. 

Tanner-Foster Educational Foundation Conference 

The Tanner-Foster Educational Foundation is a non-profit foundation created to apply for grants and other funds for educational activities, which includes professional development and scholarships. The Tanner-Foster Conference is a 2-day event held each winter in Manhattan. 

Joint-Provider Surveyor Training Workshop

In collaboration with KHCA, LeadingAge Kansas, and with KDADS, KACE provides workshops on pertinent trends in the field for adult care home executives and the KDOA surveyors. KACE is hosting the Fall 2023 Joint Provider Training that will be held in Topeka and Wichita on November 15 and 16. Joint Provider trainings are conducted in Topeka and Wichita. 

Workshops & Webinars 

KACE offers thought-provoking, relevant continuing education and professional development opportunities
in various regions throughout the state during the calendar year. Topics are initiated by members and the training sessions are
reasonably priced.

KACE is always striving to develop additional educational programs and we are looking to leverage members’ expertise in providing ideas for topics. Adult care executives working in the field each and every day know what education is most needed.
