We are looking to start someone in our paid AIT program.  Since our program is not a state approved program the candidate would have to attend the KACE program concurrently.  This program would take place at our facility in Overland Park, KS.

Garden Terrace at Overland Park, located in Overland Park, KSis looking for an Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our team.  The primary purpose of this position is to lead and manage the facility and utilize available resources to provide quality, caring services to all residents and patients, and achieve desired clinical and financial results, by accomplishing the specific business goals.

 

We are a 163 bed Skilled Nursing Facility.  We offer comprehensive skilled nursing care including Subacute Care, Rehabilitation for Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients.

 KEY JOB FUNCTION:

  • Develop, execute, and effectively supervise all department heads to ensure that they develop and execute, quarterly business and performance plans to achieve department business goals.
  • Provide all Life Care nursing programs that are appropriate for this facility.
  • Fully utilize sales / customer service satisfaction-driving operating model and billing / collection operating model.
  • Timely and effectively integrate all identified company and regional initiatives into operations.
  • Develops appropriate remedial plans to address issues identified in mock survey process.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have, as a minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements in Kansas.
  • Bachelor's Degree 

Preferred Requirements

  • Public Health Administration or Business Administration, or a health related degree.

Position:   Director of Clinical Services

Summary:

1.     Monitoring systems and processes at the services provided level

2.     Train and mentor clinical supervisory staff

3.     Conducts QAA reviews and on-site visits ensuring survey compliance and readiness

4.     Develops clinical based polices and implements accordingly

5.     Develops clinical reports and follow-up

6.     Identifies, analyzes, plans, implements and monitors clinical opportunities and issues

Minimum Qualifications:

1.      Registered Nurse with a current State of Kansas  license

2.     Experience as Nursing Director in an Assisted Living Community is a must

3.     Multi-community clinical experience preferred

4.      Must be able to travel.

Compensation: Comprehensive Executive Package to include salary, performance bonus, health, PTO and car allowance.
