Pine Village CEO/Administrator

Graceteam Services is assisting Pine Village, a nonprofit, continuing care retirement (lifeplan) community located in Moundridge, KS, with the recruitment of a new Chief Executive Officer. We are seeking a gifted executive leader who has a passion for working with the elderly in a faith-based community. Pine Village is a dynamic organization that offers 78 independent living homes and apartments, 33 assisted living and memory support apartments, and 60 skilled nursing on an 80-acre campus. 

Successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations management, in collaboration with the Board of Directors and Leadership Team.  High quality verbal and written communications ability with strong interpersonal and leadership skills are a must.  Successful experience leading a nonprofit senior living community is preferred.  A nursing home administrator’s license is required.  Competitive compensation package is negotiable to be commensurate with experience.

As an RCC, you will work under the general supervision of the Executive Director to:

  • Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, including but not limited to meal service, activities, housekeeping and laundry, personnel and public relations under specific directives from the Executive Director. Explain policies to staff and other concerned parties.
  • Monitor personal and staff compliance with all state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, resident rights and other applicable areas.
  • Assist residents with admission and assure compliance with all State and Federal requirements regarding admission, to include but not limit to initial Advance Directives, Resident Rights information, and assessments as required.
  • Provide care and compassion to foster the resident’s physical and emotional well-being

The Administrator is expected to be very visible in the facility and the community along with maintaining an open door policy for residents, families and visitors alike. As always, first impressions are lasting impressions. Keep the office clean and organized. Be courteous, friendly and accommodating to visitors and residents. They are our first priority. Respect the job and feelings of the staff, treating each employee professionally and equally. Your behavior and attitude is extremely important because your employees tend to react in the same manner they see displayed by you. Be in the facility to handle problems with staff, families or residents as they arise. The Administrator should be available seven (7) days a week or assign someone to take call. It is a good idea to stop into the facility occasionally at unexpected times.
