Reviews and develops the KACE A.I.T. program to ensure that the program remains the best program to prepare individuals for a career as a long-term care Administrator in the state of Kansas.
Develops guidance for individuals who wish to serve as a preceptor for an AIT.
Discusses issues that affect Assisted Living Communities, develops education for KACE education programs that benefit ALF Operators, facilitates conversations about the consistency of AL licensing surveys and life safety surveys, have proactive discussions and learns about any proposed standardized rating system that is being considered for Assisted Living Communities, looks to create networking opportunities for Operators, and drives Operator membership within KACE.
Plans annual KACE Convention activities including location, weekly format, networking events, vendor show, annual theme, giveaways, etc.
Develops webinars, workshops, and conferences education programs that provide industry and regulatory updates, that provide insights for executing day to day Administrator and Operator job functions, and that provide professional and personal development to advance leadership for managing long-term care facilities.
Plans annual golf tournament.
Reviews and develops membership programs and marketing strategies to enhance membership value and attract new Administrators and Operators to KACE.
Recognizes professionals in the long-term care industry who have demonstrated excellence throughout their career, recently passed away or retired so that they can be celebrated at the annual KACE Convention.
