ACADEMY
The goal of this program is to help new administrators and veteran administrators to strengthen their command of the skills and knowledge necessary to excel as a nursing home administrator.
Introduction:
The KACE Administrator Academy Program is intended to help Nursing Home Administrators supercharge their skill as a facility leader. With the help of bimonthly webinars, an experienced mentor, and a peer network this year-long program will ensure that you get the best possible start to your career as a Nursing Home Administrator. The program begins in April of each year and proceeds through graduation in late March.

Cost: $1,200 for KACE Members and $1,500 for Non KACE Members Length of Program: 1 year
Frequency of Meetings: Every other month
May 23 (KACE Office): 1 1/2-day Kick-Off Retreat (7 CEU hours)
June: Teleconference (2 CEU hours)
September: Teleconference (2 CEU hours)
November: Teleconference (2 CEU hours)
January: Teleconference (2 CEU hours)
March: Graduation Event (2 CEU hours)
CEU Information:
This program is approved for up to 17 continuing education hours for adult care home administrators by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (LTS# A1427) including 17 hours in the core area of Administration.
No refunds will be given for cancellations. Substitutions are welcome.
