Breaking Biases with Wounds: Balancing Racial Disparities in Vulnerable Populations, Martha Kelso, WoundCare Plus - 1.0 Res Care CEs 




Learning Objectives:


The participant will review statistics regarding current medical literature, the effect it has on wounds in darker-toned individuals, and how the data stacks up.
The participant will discuss current antibiotic stewardship and challenges associated with the trends in Post-Acute Care.
The participant will explore new methodologies in assessing darker-toned individuals, elevated bacterial load, and the effects experienced with wounds and antibiotic stewardship.
